The task

Evaris were in the process of migrating their shop from M1 to M2 and were working with a UK agency who ultimately failed to complete the project. Consequently, Evaris had to quickly find a competent Magento agency to step in and finish the migration working to a tight budget and timescales.

After an initial scoping call and some discovery work, we were able to define a prioritised roadmap for completion of the migration within the required budget and timescales.

Work process and challenges

In addition to the problems reported by the client, we also identified and fixed a variety of additional software and technical issues as a part of our comprehensive review.

When Evaris quizzed us about their plans to launch a new store to promote a different brand, we suggested deploying the new shop using Magento multistore functionality. We built the store from scratch and launched the site just 2 months later saving the client significant time and money compared to other quotations they received.
