A&E Leisure, founded 14 years ago, began as a service and repair business for caravans and motorhomes.
In 2018-2019 they expanded into e-commerce to complement their in-store showroom, which specializes in camping equipment. With steady growth, the business has built an entire team to support the e-commerce side, ranging from warehouse operations to web development partners.
The Challenge.
A&E Leisure initially adopted Magento 1, migrated to Magento 2, and began integrating ERP systems, warehouse systems, and other tools to support their operations.
Before partnering with MageCloud, A&E Leisure worked with two different IT service providers. Their first partner, a small general IT business, helped them with Magento but only to a certain extent. The second provider was a digital marketing agency with Magento specialization, but despite regular meetings, their efforts didn’t generate the expected results.
As Roger explains, “Every pound we spent, we got back in turnover, but there was no multiplier—no real growth.”

One of the most significant recent milestones involved automating inventory management through an integrated system. This system connects A&E Leisure’s inventory with supplier stock, updating the website in real-time to reflect product availability, shipping options, and collection services.
“We can now sell confidently, knowing whether or not we have a product in stock,” Roger highlights.
